Trees and Ghosts

rees and Ghosts was developed as a part of an artist’s residency at Asian Art Museum in San Francisco in summer 2007. I directed an expanded version of the play at Georgetown University the same year. Yoshihiko Fueki, a taiko drummer from Mie Prefecture, Japan, led the cast in a one-week intensive training, and composed/ choreographed the show’s drumming segments.
